NEPSE Falls 15.11 Points from All-Time High; Intraday Turnover Contracts to Rs. 10.905 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 3,079.83 today after losing 15.11 points from the all-time high closing yesterday. The all-time high record was broken yesterday itself with the index closing at 3,094.94.
The index opened at 3,103.53 and immediately made the intraday high at 3,107. While it went as low as 3,076.75, it ultimately closed at 3,079.83.
A total of 26,040,023 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 10.905 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's figure of Rs. 13.291 Arba. 217 scrips traded hands via 106,682 transactions.
The float index is at 214.67 after losing 1.12 points while the Sensitive index is at 570.85 after losing 3.47 points.
Goodwill Finance Company Limited (GFCL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 33.27 crore closing at a market price of Rs. 798 per share. The units of Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF) traded the most. Today was the last trading day to grab the 35% cash dividend of LEMF.
Ridi Hydropower Development Company Limited (RHPC) gained the highest 9.95% today and technically hit the positive circuit breaker. On the other side of things, Goodwill Finance Company Limited (GFCL) lost the most 7.21%.
11 sectors lost while only two sectors gained today. Hotels and Tourism gained the most 1.17% in terms of sectorial gain. Meanwhile, Finance lost the most 1.96%.
