NEPSE Fall Mere 0.27% to Settle at 1,933.31 Levels; Only Four Sector Closes Green Led by "Trading"

The NEPSE index closed at 1,933.31 today after losing 5.32 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.27%. The index lost 14.44 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 1,938.62 and made an intraday low at 1,919.93. In contrast, it went as high as 1,946.77 and ultimately closed at 1,933.31.

258 scrips traded hands via 26,375 transactions. A total of 3,402,267 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.14 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.202 Arba.

NIC Asia Bank Ltd. (NICA) had the highest turnover of Rs. 4.94 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 750 per share. The shares of Siddhartha Bank Limited Promoter Share (SBLPO) traded the most.

Unique Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (UNLB) and Shuvam Power Limited (SPL) gained the highest 10% each and hit positive for the day.

Conversely, Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (LLBS) lost the highest 5.76% today.

Only four sectors closed green, "Trading" gained the highest 1.41% while "Hotel and Tourism" lost the highest 1.14% today.
