NEPSE Fall Mere 0.23% to Settle at 1,866.40 Levels; HDL Sees Highest Turnover Among All Scrips

The NEPSE index closed at 1,866.40 today after losing 4.27 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.23%. The index lost 19.11 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 1,871.63 and made an intraday high of 1,878.96. In contrast, it went as low as 1,860.43 and ultimately closed at 1,866.40.

271 scrips traded hands via 21,649 transactions. A total of 2,336,625 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 69.22 Crores in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 95.43 Crores.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 2.44 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,900 per share. The shares of NICBF traded the most.

Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ANLB) gained the highest 8.20% for the day.

Conversely, Swet-Ganga Hydropower & Construction Limited (SGHC) lost the highest 4.70% today.

Six sector indices closed red, "Trading" lost the highest 1.53% while "Mutual Fund" gained the highest 0.54% today.
