NEPSE Egdes Up By 9.23 Points to Close at 2,714.61; Three Scrips Hit Upper Circuit While AKJCL Leads the Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 9.23 points (0.34%) to settle at 2,714.61. This follows a 9.43 point loss the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,706.44, touching an intraday high of 2,714.67, while the lowest point was 2,693.04. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 9.07 Arba, with 19,075,756 shares traded across 332 companies through 94,174 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.47 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.53 Kharba.

Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 40.82 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 244.00.

Three Companies Hit Upper Circuit By gaining a maximum of 10% each.

Meanwhile, Kalika power Company Ltd (KPCL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 6.25%.

Among sectors, the Finance Index registered the highest gain, gaining 2.38%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 1.16%.
