NEPSE Edges Up to 2,649.30 with Rs. 7.12 Arba Turnover; SYPNL Tops Turnover Chart

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 9.93 points (0.37%) to settle at 2,649.30. This follows a 28.73 point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2640.77, touching an intraday high of 2,662.66, while the lowest point was 2,639.88. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 7.12 Arba, with 14,831,241 shares traded across 334 companies through 88,362 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.48 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.10 Kharba.

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 24.88 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,300.00.

Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Bittya Sanstha Ltd (JBLB) led the gainer's list with 9.97% each.

Meanwhile, Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU) recorded the steepest drop, falling 8.41%.

Among sectors, the Finance Index registered the highest gain, gaining 2.87%, while the Manufacturing And Processing saw the highest loss at 0.51%.
