NEPSE Edges Up to 2,614.07 with Rs. 3.75 Arba Turnover; NGPL Tops Turnover Chart

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, increasing by 7.39 points (0.28%) to settle at 2,614.07. This follows a 3.02 point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,607.36, touching an intraday high of 2,618.22, while the lowest point was 2,605.60. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 3.75 Arba, with 8,742,084 shares traded across 331 companies through 62,665 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.89 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.82 Kharba.

Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 31.92 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 409.5.

Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWASTIK) and Shreenagar Agritech Industries Limited led the gainers' list by 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Him Star Urja Company Limited (HIMSTAR) recorded the steepest drop, falling 3.88%.

Among sectors, the Non-Life Insurance Index registered the highest loss, losing 0.17%, while the Hotel and Tourism Index saw the highest gain at 0.88%.
