NEPSE Edges Up Slightly to Close at 2,576.29 Points; Overall Turnover Hits Three-Month High

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 6.11 points (0.23%) to settle at 2,576.29.This comes after a loss of 30.60 points in the previous trading session.


The benchmark index opened at 2569.2 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,584.30 and a low of 2,546.69 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 8.41 Arba, with 18,293,596 shares traded across 383 companies through 53,854 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.26 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.94 Kharba.


10% KBL Debenture 2090 (KBLD90) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 52.71 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,250.00 .


9% Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited Debenture 2087 (KSBBLD87) Led the gainer's list with 10.22% each. The stock closed at Rs. 1,229.00 .


Meanwhile, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 8.10%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,100.00.

Among sectors, Trading Index registered the highest gain, gaining by 1.47%, while Manufacturing And Processing recorded highest loss, losing by 0.18%.
