NEPSE Drops By 18.40 Points To Close at 2,487.17; MNBBL Leads the Turnover While Only Two Sector Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 18.40 points (0.73% ) to settle at 2,487.17. This follows a 22.58 -point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2505.73, touching an intraday high of 2,522.59, while the lowest point was 2,478.56. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 3.27 Arba, with 7,643,635 shares traded across 311 companies through 36,531 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 41.57 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.11 Kharba.
Muktinath Bikas Bank Ltd. (MNBBL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 15.3 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 435.50.
Himalayan Power Partner Ltd. (HPPL) led the gainer's list with 9.93%.
Meanwhile, Samaj Laghubittya Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SAMAJ) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10.00%.
Among sectors, the Mutual Fund registered the highest gain, gaining 0.21%, while the Others Index saw the highest loss at 2.21%.
