NEPSE Down Further 30.89 Points First Day of Week, No Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 2,513.41 today after losing 30.89 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 1.21%. The index had lost 23.95 points last Thursday.
The index opened at 2,544.48 today and made the intraday high at 2,546.65. However, it couldn't sustain the rise, and the index quickly began losing from there. While it went as low as 2,510.69, it ultimately closed at 2,513.41.
225 scrips traded hands via 28,113 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,253,816 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.46 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last Thursday's turnover of Rs. 1.89 Arba.
Surya Life Insurance Company Limited (SLICL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 9.72 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 700 per share. Its shares also trade the most.
A total of three scrips technically gained 10% and hit the positive circuit breaker for the day.
On the other side of things, United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower Limited. (UMRH) lost the highest 5.02%.
Among the thirteen sector indices, twelve have closed red while "Mutual Fund" did not see any change. Among the losers, "Others" lost the highest 3.13%.
