Nepse down by 6.93 points

Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) after the positive momentum of yesterday, started today’s session in decline. As none of the Sub-indices was able to gain the benchmark index Nepse lost 6.93 or 1.84% points to close at 368.47 level.
According to Nepse, Sanima Bank Limited Promoter Share, which closed at Rs 130, was the Top Gainer with Rs 8 or 6.56%. Whereas Kaski Finance Limited, which settled at Rs 114, was the Top Loser with Rs 12 or 9.52%. Likewise, Bank of Kathmandu had the highest traded share of 8,533 units in today’s session. On the other hand, with 7,064 shares worth Rs 5,793,712 via 100 transaction Chilime Hydro Power Co (CHCL) had the highest transaction and turnover; in which Broker No 33 (Dachinkali Investment Securities Pvt.Ltd) was the most active broker with 58.79% stand alone dealing of CHCL, amounting Rs 3,406,092 of 4,152 units via 40 transactions.
Today all sectors suffered loss with Banking being the top with 2.8% points. Similarly, Other sub- indices was the second, which skid by 1.48% points, followed by Hydro, Trading, Finance, Insurance, Development and Hotels with 0.38%, 0.34%, 0.34%, 0.31%, 0.26% and 0.15% points respectively. Sensitive index plummeted by 1.92 or 1.98% to settle at 94.44 points while Float index also slip 0.556 or 1.86% point than previous day closing level.
Total scrips traded for the day was 80 with 19 gainers and 54 losers with total turnover of Rs 29,164,464 which is comparatively Rs 9,731,033 lower than prior trading session. Overall 98,905 units of shares were traded via 929 transactions with total market capitalization of Rs. 348,012.67 millions.
