NEPSE Down 10.87 Points With Intraday Turnover of Rs 89.95 Crores; Only Two Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 1,908.55 today after losing 10.87 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.57%. The index gained 1.02 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 1,920.01 and went intraday high of 1,932.68. In contrast, it went as low as 1,905.12 and ultimately closed at 1,908.55.

254 scrips traded hands via 26,434 transactions. A total of 2,750,655 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 89.95 Crores in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 81.62 Crores.

SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 5 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 415 per share.

Supermai Hydropower Limited (SMH) gained the highest 9.99% and technically hit the positive circuit for the day.

Conversely, Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ADLB) has lost the highest 6.07% today.

Only two sector indices closed green, "Hotel and Tourism" gained the highest 0.50% while "Others" lost the highest 1.11% today.
