NEPSE Dips By 19.43 Points to Close at 2,528.16; Trading Sector Sees Highest Gain Among All Indices

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 19.43 points (0.76% ) to settle at 2,528.16. This follows a 44.25 -point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2547.77, touching an intraday high of 2,553.57, while the lowest point was 2,523.58. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 3.36 Arba, with 7,488,273 shares traded across 317 companies through 38,827 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 42.26 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.32 Kharba.

 

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 32.07 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,331.00.


Shuvam Power Limited (SPL) and Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (GBLBS) led the gainer's list with 10.00%.

 

Meanwhile, Samaj Laghubittya Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SAMAJ) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10.00%.

 

Among sectors, the Trading Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.48%, while the HydroPower Index saw the highest loss at 1.71%.
