NEPSE DIPS BY 19.57 POINTS

The only secondary market of Nepal failed to sustain the winning streak as the market index tumbled by 19.57 points to close at 952.60 level.
Following the back to back rally in the last two days of prior week, the selling order flooded in the market triggering bearish transition throughout the day.
“The investors are still cautious after massive tumble of benchmark index last week,” says one of the brokers.
He further adds, “Despite later gains of prior week, the new investors are still showing signs of panic.”
Among the listed shares, hydro and insurance scrips witnessed massive offload as Hydro sub-index suffered loss of 125.8 points and Insurance declined by 96.28 points.
Likewise, Banking, Development and Finance also witnessed double digit losses of 16.15 points, 13.24 points and 10.24 points respectively.
Similarly, Hotels and Others also decreased by 41.66 points and 4.69 points respectively.
In addition, the turnover also decreased today as the figure stood at Rs 503 million down from Rs 611.27 million.
