NEPSE Dips By 0.11% to Close at 2,606.67; NGPL Leads the Turnover Chart While Only 5 Sector Closes at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 3.02 points (0.11%) to settle at 2,606.67. This follows a 21.48 point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2609.67, touching an intraday high of 2,618.22, while the lowest point was 2,601.38. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.66 Arba, with 10,146,400 shares traded across 331 companies through 83,273 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.76 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.79 Kharba.

SNgadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 55.86 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 416.8.

Four Companies led the gainers' list by 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Support Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SMB) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.16%. 

Among sectors, the Banking Index registered the highest loss, losing 0.67%, while the Manufacturing and Processing Index saw the highest gain at 0.61%.
