NEPSE Declines By Minimal Points Today; Overall Turnover Stood at Rs. 3.29 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a minimal fall today, falling by 0.26 points to close at 2,622.48. This follows a 19.34-point loss in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,622.84 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,627.11 and a low of 2,609.84 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 3.29 Arba, with 9,508,882 shares traded across 346 companies through 42,709 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.10 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.21 Kharba.

Sahas Urja Limited (SAHAS) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 17.52 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 701.00.
Mount Everest Power Development Limited (MEPDL) hit the upper circuit with a 14.99% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 693.60.

Meanwhile, Manakamana Engineering Hydropower Limited (MEHL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 8.45%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 259.00 .

Among sectors, the Trading Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 0.76%, while the Finance Index recorded the highest loss, down 0.22%.
