NEPSE Declined by Minimal 0.12% Today To Close At 1,889.73; Only Two Sectors Manage to Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 1,889.73 today after losing 2.27 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.12%. The index lost 13.68 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 1,892.94 and made an intraday low of 1,880.25. In contrast, it went as high as 1,895.17 and ultimately closed at 1,889.73.

269 scrips traded hands via 21,851 transactions. A total of 2,174,914 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 73.96 Crores in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 84.7 Crores.

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.76 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 539 per share. The shares of HDHPC traded the most.

Citizens Mutual Fund 2 (CMF2) gained the highest 5.85% for the day.

Conversely, NIBL Growth Fund (NIBLGF) lost all 10% today.

Only two sector indices closed green, "Manufacturing and Processing" lost the highest 1.28% while "Hotel and Tourism" gained the highest 1.83% today.
