NEPSE Creates Yet Another All-Time High With Highest Turnover Ever

The NEPSE index gained 34.68 points today and closed at a new all-time high of 2,793.89. The previous record was broken just yesterday, which was created after breaking the record made the day before yesterday.

The index opened at 2,780.70 and made the intraday low at 2,767.25. While the index went as high as 2,794.28, it ultimately closed at 2,793.89.

23,131,615 shares traded hands via 115,961 transactions. The trading of 215 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 11.35 Arba. This is the highest turnover in the history of NEPSE. The last all-time high was Rs. 10.619 Arba created earlier this year on February 08.

While the float index gained 2.16 points and closed at 191.42, the Sensitive index is at 497.22 after gaining 4.64 points.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 67.92 crores.

Almost 34 scrips have technically closed at the upper limit of 10% gain today.

On the other side of things, Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) lost the most 1.07%. There are no significant losers today.

Only the Manufacturing sector lost a minimal 0.09% today. Among all other sectors that gained, Hotels and Tourism gained the most 6.15%.
