NEPSE Creates All-Time High at 3,111.09; Six Scrips Hit Positive Circuit Breaker

The NEPSE index closed at 3,111.09 today after gaining an impressive 26.02 points from the last trading day's close. This is the highest index-closing in the history of Nepal's capital market. The previous all-time high was created at 3,094.94.

The index opened at 3,096.64 and made the intraday low at 3,092.61. Nonetheless, the index gained in the market session today and closed at the all-time high, which is also the intraday high.

A total of 21,129,088 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 11.529 Arba in the turnover amount. 223 scrips traded hands via 106,620 transactions.

Api Power Company Limited (API) had the highest turnover of Rs. 46.82 crore closing at a market price of Rs. 513 per share. Its shares also traded the most.

A total of six scrips have hit the positive circuit breaker by gaining 10%, which is the highest permissible intraday gain for a stock. On the other side of things, Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) lost the most 3.79%.
