NEPSE Couldn't Sustain Yesterday's Gain Plummets By 30.09 Points to Settle at 2,621.59 Level

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double digit fall today, falling by 30.09 points (1.13%) to settle at 2,621.59.This comes after a gain of 24.57 points in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2646.69 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,649.56 and a low of 2,610.33 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.82 Arba, with 8,463,015 shares traded across 362 companies through 77,627 transactions.

11% KBL Debenture 2089 (KBLD89) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 62.39 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,290.00.

10% Citizens Bank Debenture 2090 (CIZBD90) Led the gainer's list with 8.87% each. The stock closed at Rs.516.40.

Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 13.41%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,775.00 .

Among sectors, Mutual Fund registered the highest loss by 0.11%, while HydroPower Index recorded least loss, losing by 1.70%.
