NEPSE Correction Witnessed Today; Market Closes at 1,423.81 With 1.27 Arba Turnover

The market today closed at 1,423.81 levels, a 6.61 points, or 0.46% decline.

A total of 3,630,845 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1,271,738,914 in the turnover amount. 190 scrips were traded via 25,771 transactions.

20.18 points volatility was seen today, with the highest point being 1441.31 and the lowest being 1421.13.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest turnover of Rs. 12.16 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 587 per share. Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the second-highest turnover of Rs. 8.39 crores. Nepal Credit And Commercial Bank Limited had the highest number of shares traded for the day among all companies.

Float is down by 0.49 points and is currently at 99.85. On the other hand, the Sensitive Index is currently at 297.27 after losing 1.38 points from the previous close.

Sadhana Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SDLBSL), Ajod Insurance Limited (AIL), and Union Hydropower Company Limited (UNHPL) hit a positive circuit today.

On the other hand, Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) lost the most 9.8%.
