NEPSE Continues to Shed Points as Index Falls to 1,857.23 Levels; Lost 0.49% Today While Turnover Declined to Rs. 62.02 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,857.23 today after losing 9.18 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.49%. The index lost 4.27 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 1,866.68 and made an intraday high of 1,868.35. In contrast, it went as low as 1,852.35 and ultimately closed at 1,857.23.

265 scrips traded hands via 18,876 transactions. A total of 2,155,586 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 62.02 Crores in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 69.22 Crores.

SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.05 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,888 per share. The shares of HDHPC traded the most.

Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ANLB) gained the highest 6.09% for the day.

Conversely, NIBL Growth Fund (NIBLGF) lost the highest 5.35% today.

Only two sector indices closed green, "Hotel and Tourism" lost the highest 1.48% while "Mutual Fund" gained the highest 0.19% today.
