NEPSE Continues its Upward Movement, Climbs 15.44 Points to Settle at 2,538.11 Level

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit gain today, gaining by 15.44 points (0.61%) to close at 2,538.11. This follows a 9.24 -point gain in the previous trading session.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2,524.23 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,538.18 and a low of 2,513.35 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 2.94 Arba, with 7,268,202 shares traded across 354 companies through 39,673 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.65 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.72 Kharba.

 

Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Limited (TAMOR) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 14.17 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 504.00.

 

Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) hit the upper circuit with a 11.87% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 2,790.00 .

 

Meanwhile, NMB Energy Bond 4% - 2093/94 (NMBUR93/94) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 5.81%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 941.00.

 

Among sectors, Hydropower Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 0.95%, while the Mutual Fund recorded the highest loss, down 0.09%.
