NEPSE CONTINUES ITS RALLY

Advancing further in its path, the benchmark index today came to add 3.69 points in its tally.
Following the yesterday’s breach of strong 555 resistance level, the market sentiment is now converging toward the bullish trend. Today’s climb of over three points has further helped to set the path for a positive transition in the local bourse for future date.
In addition to recent surge in the market index, the building up of the election environment has also encouraged for a favorable setting in the market.
Moreover, the investors attraction mainly toward the banking and others sectors, two of the heavyweight sectors in the secondary market, has also helped to fueled the market in recent days
Today also, improvement in these both sectors at the end moment of the session helped to boost the NEPSE, which settle at 560.47 level.
By the end of the day, Banking and Others came to make a leap of 1.91 and 17.62 points respectively. Similarly, two of the remaining BFIs sectors i.e. Development and Finance also gained 0.13 and 2.54 points respectively alongside 15.31 points surge of Hydro.
While Insurance and Hotels today suffered loss of 6.47 and 0.75 points respectively.
All in all, 81 scrips were traded, out of which 37 scrips gained, 15 remained intact and 29 scrips lost.
Continuing its wonders, Sana Kisan Bikas Bank Limited (SKBBL), closed at Rs 665, today further advanced by Rs 60 or 9.92 percent, which is the highest among the today’s traded scrips. While, Rural Micro Finance Corporation (RMDC), closed at Rs 588, made slightly less incline of Rs 27 or 4.81 percent.
Both the company’s share today also sold like hot cakes. RMDC had 504 transactions totaling 35,306 units worth Rs 20,267,098 and SKBBL had 359 transactions totaling 16,506 units worth Rs 10,708,790.
Likewise one of the scrip related to Banking sector i.e. Nepal Bangladesh Bank, closed at Rs 375, also had hefty transaction following the company‘s BOD proposal of 17.79 percent dividend which includes 10 percent bonus share and rest cash—subjected to approval from NRB and its upcoming AGM. Altogether, 44,124 units of NBB’s shares were traded via 105 transactions worth Rs 16,756,389.
Despite such healthy announcement the scrip today stumble by Rs 23 or 5.78 percent, making it the second highest loser after Namaste Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (NBSL), which declined by Rs 21 or 8.33 percent to close at Rs 231.
The scrip with the highest turnover in today’s market was Nepal Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (NLIC), closed at Rs 2170, with Rs 21,753,865 totaling 10,451 units which were carried out through 9 transactions.
The broker with the highest standalone dealing of the NLIC was Broker No 28 (Shree Krishna Securities Limited) with 97.53 percent; amounting Rs 42,432,000 via 2 transactions totaling 20,400 units which were all conducted through matching transaction.
In the overall market, 327,073 unit shares were traded by 1,747 transactions worth Rs 131,697,861. The market capitalization at the end of the day stood at Rs 564,016.84 million.
