NEPSE Concludes Today's Session on Indecisive Note; Six Companies Hit Positive Circuit Nonetheless

The NEPSE index closed at 3,108.12 today after gaining a minimal 0.66 points.
The index opened at 3,117.02 and made the intraday high at 3,121.14. While it went as low as 3,099.18, it ultimately closed at 3,108.12. The float index is at 217.16 after gaining 0.1 points while the Sensitive index is at 578.09 after gaining 0.78 points.
A total of 26,996,313 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 14.308 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last week's figure of Rs. 14.316 Arba. 227 scrips traded hands via 126,924 transactions.
Api Power Company Limited (API) had the highest turnover of Rs. 81.85 crore closing at a market price of Rs. 607 per share. Its shares also traded the most.
A total of six scrips have hit the positive circuit breaker by gaining 10%, which is the highest permissible intraday gain for a stock. On the other side of things, 10.25% NIC ASIA Debenture 2083/84 (NICD83/84) lost the most 7.37%.
Six sectors gained while seven others closed red. While Hydropower gained the most 3.33%, Non-Life Insurance lost the most 1.38%.
