NEPSE Concludes The Day With 0.61% Gain; All Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 2,088.70 today after gaining 12.73 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.61%. The index lost 21.32 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 2,079.42 and then made the intraday high at 2,104.38. In contrast, it went as low as 2,067.22 and ultimately closed at 2,088.70.
282 scrips traded hands via 46,731 transactions. A total of 6,450,934 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.57 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 4.05 Arba.
Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.17 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 2,139 per share. The shares of HLI traded the most.
City Hotel Limited (CITY) gained the highest 9.98% and technically hit the positive circuit for the day.
Conversely, BPW Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (BPW) lost the highest 9.99% today.
All sector indices closed green, "Hotels And Tourism" gained the highest 2.36% while "Banking" gained the least 0.09% today.
