NEPSE Concludes Last Trading Day Before Tihar With 0.63% Loss; All Sectors Closed Red

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 11.85 points, or 0.63%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 1,852.08 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 5.17 points for the index.

The index opened trading at 1864.4 and had an intraday low of 1,847.85 and an intraday high of 1,866.93.

27,845 trades involving 282 distinct stocks were made during today's session. With a total turnover of Rs. 83.60 crore, 2,833,731 units of shares were traded. With a float market capitalization of Rs. 9.96 Kharba, the market capitalization was Rs. 28.53 Kharba.

At a market price of Rs. 259, Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) finished with the highest turnover of Rs. 7.70 crores.

Likewise, today's largest gainer was Sayapatri Hydropower Limited (SPHL), at 6.96%.

Conversely, today's biggest loss was recorded by Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN), at 6.58%.

All sector indexes closed in the red on the last trading day before the Tihar break. Meanwhile, the "Others Index" saw the most loss of 1.55%, and the "Trading Index" saw the least loss of 0.14%.
