NEPSE Concludes Last Trading Day Before Dashain With 0.21% Loss; Market Cap at Rs. 29.21 Kharba

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 1,903.84 points, as the index experienced a loss of 4.05 points, or 0.21% compared to the previous day's closing. The index witnessed a notable gain of 43.27 points on the last trading day as well.
The trading started with the index opening at 1908.66 hitting an intraday low of 1,893.94, whereas the intraday high was 1,915.98.
During today's trading, there were 284 different stocks traded in 25,520 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 3,766,153 units with a total turnover of Rs. 97.06 Crore. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 29.21 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.25 Kharba.
NABIL Bank Limited Promotor Share (NABILP) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 5.90 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 312.00.
Similarly, Citizens Mutual Fund 2 (CMF2) showed the highest gain of 5.87% today.
On the flip side, Upper Solu Hydro Electric Company Limited (USHEC) lost the highest 8.25% today.
In terms of sector indices, four sectors closed green with the "Mutual Fund" gaining the highest 0.36%. Meanwhile, the "HydroPower Index" recorded the most loss with 0.96% negative change.
