NEPSE Concludes First Trading Day of the Week With 1.38% Gain; All Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 2,077.76 today after gaining 28.38 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 1.38%. The index lost 0.06 points last Thursday.
Today the index opened at 2,050.36 and went intraday low of 2,049.69. In contrast, it went as high as 2,085.23 and ultimately closed at 2,077.76.
287 scrips traded hands via 73,446 transactions. A total of 8,352,576 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.04 Arba in turnover amount. This is slightly lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 3.07 Crores.
Himalayan Life Insurance Limited (HLI) had the highest turnover of Rs. 18.6 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 498 per share. The shares of NMB traded the most.
Rawa Energy Development Limited (RAWA) gained the highest 9.98% and technically hit the positive circuit for the day.
Conversely, Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Ltd (UPPER) lost the highest 6.65% today.
All sector indices closed green, "Hotel and Tourism" gained the highest 4.36% while "Hydropower" gained the least 0.12 points today.
