NEPSE Concluded Today's Trading Session With 0.92% Gain: Hydropower Sector Gain 3.09%

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 2,022.91 points, as the index experienced gain of 18.45 points or 0.92% compared to the previous day's closing. On Monday, the index experienced loss of 5.89 points.
The trading started with the index opening at 2,006.64 hitting an intraday low of 2,005.42, whereas intraday high was 2,030.51.
During today's trading, there were 286 different stocks traded in 78,616 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 8,704,477 with a total turnover of Rs. 2.09 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 30.66 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.80 Kharba.
NIC Asia Bank Ltd. (NICA) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 8.34 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 788.6.
Similarly, four hydropower companies hit the positive circuit for the day.
On the flip side, Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (HLBSL) experienced the highest loss of 5.87% today.
In terms of sector indices, except Hotel and Tourism Index all other indices closed in the green, with Hydropower Index gaining the most at 3.09%.
