NEPSE closes in red at 1,297.60 points; Turnover stands at Rs 50 crore

NEPSE fell by 3.68 points or 0.28% today closing at 1,297.60 points. The turnover stands at Rs 50.79 crore with a total of 19.07 lakh shares traded via 6,765 transactions.

The market today opened at 1,301.39 saw minor fluctuations throughout the day and finally closed in the red zone.

Civil Bank (CBL) has the highest turnover today with a total turnover of Rs 5.53 crore closing at Rs 152. Similarly, CBL also has the highest number of shares traded.

The top gainer for today is Himalayan Distillery (HDL). It climbed 10% today closing at Rs 1,815. Multipurpose Finance Company (MPFL) is the top loser for today going down by 9.5% closing at Rs 161.

The subindices for Trading, Manufacturing & processing and others climed and closed in green, while the rest of the sectors ended in red. The hotels sector lost the most going down by 32.99 points.
