NEPSE closed on good note; with hike of 8.55 points to settle 862.50 level

Increment in NEPSE continued today, as it surged 8.55 points or 1 percent to land at 862.50 level, compared to yesterdays 853.95 benchmark index.
NEPSE opened at 854.02 level, raised up to the intraday high of 866.55 points at 2 PM before its closing at 862.50 level at the end. The intraday low recorded was 853.40 level.
Rise in confidence among the investors has boosted the market, amid the increase of buying investors from two consecutive trading days.
The total market turnover has lessen by almost Rs 10 million to settle at Rs 214.5 million, compared to yesterdays Rs 225.3 million. Total of 419,126 shares were traded today in 2,013 transactions within 133 scrips.

Among the sub-indices, Others was able to maintain no-gain-no-lose, after facing raise and fall on its respective graph today.
Banking aroused by 8.36 points or 1.13 percent, covering almost 40 percent of today’s turnover.
HydroPower and Insurance gained in double figure of 49.04 and 48.84 points or 2.39 and 1.3 percent respectively.
Hotels, Finance and Development had meager gains of 8.03, 3.76 and 2.81 points respectively.
Trading, which plunged 2.09 points, was the only sector to fall in red.
Mainly Development banks like Sahara Bikas, Excel development, Laxmi Laghubitta and Clean Energy Development bank were the top gainer where as Matribhumi, Grand bank, Civic Development and Nepal Insurance were on top loser side.
