NEPSE Closed All 13 Sectors In Red: Turnover Limited To 57 Crore

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 1,864.40 points, as the index experienced a loss of 14.29 points, or 0.76% compared to the previous day's closing. The index witnessed a minor gain of 3.04 points on the last trading day.
The trading started with the index opening at 1878.29 hitting an intraday low of 1,860.47, whereas the intraday high was 1,878.98.
During today's trading, there were 286 different stocks traded in 25,625 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 2,258,187 units with a total turnover of Rs. 57.14 Crore. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 28.71 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.07 Kharba.
SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Limited (SJLIC) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 1.70 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 480.
Similarly, Mahuli Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MSLB) showed the highest gain of 6.05% today.
On the flip side, Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) lost the highest 9.98% today, resulting decline in its trading value as it entered a negative circuit for three days in a row.
In terms of sector indices, all sectors closed red. "Life Insurance" lost the highest 1.46% while "Others Index" lost the least of 0.26% for today.
