NEPSE CLOSE ABOVE 800 LEVEL

Making further rally of 8.80 points, the benchmark index came to breach 800 level. With back to back incline, the local bourse today came to close 800.99 level.

As the selling pressure has eased off in the recent days, the market in current scenario is recouping its way up. Attributed by such factor, many investors and traders who were idle in prior days is now entering in the market for better future reap which has promotes the Nepse index in recent days.

Most of the investors today also opted for insurance, hydro and banking scrips. Insurance sector today propelled by 57.41 points followed by Hydro with 47.03 points and Banking soar by 8.56 points.

Likewise, Development and Finance incremented by 3.88 points and 2.77 points respectively. While, Hotels suffered loss of 24.82 points.

Altogether there were trade of 132 scrips, among which 78 scrips gained, 10 scrips remained intact and 44 scrips suffered loss.

The best performer among the traded ordinary scrips was Rastriya Beema Sansthan (RBS), closed Rs 3763, with a gain of Rs 342 or 10 percent. Whereas, Nilgiri Bikas Bank Limited (NGBL), closed at Rs 191, was the worst performer with loss of Rs 21 or 9.19 percent.

In addition to the improvement in the market transition, the turnover  also made remarkable growth today as it stood at Rs 400,170,726, last time Nepse witnessed such volume was back in the month of February. In total, 774,565 units of shares were traded through 2,500 transactions.

Chilime Hydro power Co. (CHCL), which closed at Rs 1860, today also had the highest turnover among the traded scrips today. Overall, 36,649 units of CHCL were traded through 222 transactions worth Rs 67,094,126.

The Broker with the highest transaction of CHCL was Broker No 54 (Sewa Securities Pvt. Ltd.) with 8.50 percent standalone dealing, totaling 6,185 units worth Rs 11,417,652 via 26 transactions, which includes one matching transaction of 200 units worth Rs 371,000.
