NEPSE CLIMBS BY DOUBLE DIGIT

After witnessing streaks of downfall, the market index today came to resuscitate back to its bullish form with back to back surge. The benchmark index today experienced yet another bull run of 10.37 points, to close at 775.28 levels.
Investors today also rushed to take the opportunity of low share price of listed companies, in process propelled the Nepse index by double figure. The high presence of buyer in the market today kept the local bourse floating on green terrain throughout the day.
Most of the investors today were found grabbing the hydro, insurance and banking scrips. Insurance and Hydro sub-indices made a huge growth of 44.89 points and 49.98 points respectively. Similarly, Banking followed with 11.66 points surge.
Likewise, remaining two of the banking and financial institutions sub-indices, Finance and Development also sustained gain of 4.30 points and 1.29 points respectively. Also, Hotels, one of the small sectors of Nepse, incremented by 31.45 points.
Whereas, Others, which is one of the major sector of Nepse, plunged by 1.17 points. As for Trading, it remained intact at 179.71 levels.
Altogether there were trade of 123 scrips, among which 71 scrips gained, 21 scrips remained intact and 31 scrips suffered loss.
The best performer among the traded scrips was Alliance Insurance Company Ltd. Promoter (AICPO), closed Rs 110, with a gain of Rs 10 or 10 percent, followed by ICFC Finance Limited (ICFC), closed at Rs 251, with gain of Rs 22 or 9.61 percent. Whereas, Corporate Development Bank Ltd. (CORBL), closed at Rs 107, was the worst performer with loss of Rs 11 or 9.32 percent.
The company with the highest turnover in today’s session was Nepal Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (NLIC), closed at Rs 4600, with turnover of Rs 29,808,025, totaling 6,502 units which were traded through 18 transactions.
The Broker with the highest transaction of NLIC was Broker No 28 (Shree Krishna Securities Limited) with 92.69 percent standalone dealing, totaling 12,045 units worth Rs 29,995,030 via 13 transactions, which includes five matching transactions tallying 6,000 units worth Rs 27,528,000.
The market turnover today stood at Rs 204,972,034, with total number of shares traded at 411,558 units which were traded through 2,047 transactions. The market capitalization at the end of the day stood at Rs 790,144.32 Millions.
