NEPSE Bounces Back With Huge 64.87 Points Gain; Fourteen Scrips Hit Positive Circuit with Turnover of Rs 3.501 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,125.94 today after gaining 64.87 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 3.15%. The index lost 3.03 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,069.34 and made an intraday low of 2,066.57. It made an intraday high of 2,126.04 and closed at 2,125.94.
258 scrips traded hands via 57,312 transactions. A total of 8,733,542 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.501 Arba in turnover amount. This is a bit higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 3.458 Arba.
Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 11.52 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 2,770.6 per share. The shares of Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) traded the most.
Fourteen scrips gained all they could and hit a positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, 10% Nepal SBI Bank Debenture 2086 (SBIBD86) lost the highest 1.99% today.
All sector indices closed green, "Trading" gained the highest 9.74% while "Banking" gained the least 1.23% today.
