NEPSE BOUNCE BACK OVER 800 LEVEL

After three days of correction, the benchmark index finally made its way up. The local bourse today bounce backed by 5.79 points to breach and sustain over 800 mark. The market index today closed at 801.72 level.
Thought the Nepse index in last trading day showed some promising sign of early bounce back, it was not the case in the beginning of today’s session. The secondary market was hovering below the prior closing level for most of today’s session.
It was only in the last hour, the Nepse index made its speedy recovery. Moreover, it was a good performance from the benchmark index.
The last surge was mostly prevailed by the overall sectors’ scrips. With the increase in the buyers in late session, overall market came to settle in green terrain.
Insurance and Hydro sector continued to attract more investors towards them as both produces double digit growth figure of 70.27 points and 29.45 points respectively. Similarly, Hotels also followed with double digit incline of 12.62 points.
Likewise, Banking, Development and Finance also made to green terrain with gain of 1.95 points, 4.84 points and 0.36 point respectively. Alongside them, Manufacturing and Others also sustain increment of 5.65 points and 5.87 points respectively.
Altogether there were trade of 125 scrips, among which 70 scrips gained, 18 scrips remained intact and 37 scrips suffered loss.
The best performer among the traded shares was National LifeInsu. Co.Ltd. (NLICL), closed Rs 2600, with a gain of Rs 234 or 9.89 percent. Whereas, Himalayan Gen.Insu. Co.Ltd. (HGI), closed at Rs 402, was the worst performer with loss of Rs 23 or 5.41 percent.
National Life Insu. Co.Ltd. (NLICL), which closed at Rs 2600, had the highest turnover among the traded scrips today. Overall, 54,417 units of NLICL were traded through 131 transactions worth Rs 135,988,418.
The Broker with the highest transaction of NLICL was Broker No 33 (Dachinkali Investment Securities Pvt.Ltd) with 19.95 percent standalone dealing, totaling 21,326 units worth Rs 51,544,286 via 22 transactions, which includes three matching transactions tallying 1207 units worth Rs 2,952,060.
The market turnover today stood at Rs 408,647,590, with total number of shares traded at 656,360 units which were traded through 2,088 transactions. The market capitalization at the end of the day stood at Rs 817,384.17 Millions.
