NEPSE Attempts to Change Course With 53.30 Points Gain, All Sector Indices Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 2,754.28 today after gaining 53.3 points from yesterday's closing. The index had gained a minimal 0.08 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,703.35 today and did not trade lower. It then closed at the intraday high of 2,754.28.

224 scrips traded hands via 43,519 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 6,343,228 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.233 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 3.684 Arba.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 22.77 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 4,342 per share. The shares of Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Bittya Sanstha Ltd Promoter (JBLBP) traded the most.

Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI) gained the highest 10%, hitting the positive circuit breaker and closing at Rs. 489.50.

Meanwhile, NIC Asia Balanced Fund (NICBF) has lost the highest 3.14% and closed at Rs. 10.80.

All sector indices have closed green today. Hydropower gained the highest 4.32%.
