Today the investors’ sentiment went down despite 1.65 points or 0.46% gain of yesterday. The benchmark index Nepse couldn’t gain the upward momentum from the opening level. The index within 40 minutes plummeted to 360 level after that it couldn’t come to the opening level in the whole trading session of today. Overall, Nepse lost 1.13 or 0.31% points than the previous day's trade.
With 9,924 units worth Rs. 8,952,929 via 111 transaction Everest Bank Limited (EBL) was the top performer in terms of highest traded share, transaction and turnover in today’s session. The broker with the highest stand alone dealing of EBL was Broker No 8 (Ashutosh Brokerage & Securities Pvt. Limited) with 81.27% dealing; amounting Rs. 7,276,280 via 95 transactions of 8,020 units which includes matching of 150 units worth Rs 135,450. Likewise, Zenith Finance Limited was the Top Gainer with Rs 4 or 4.21 % whereas Seti Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the Top Loser with Rs 6 or 9.68%.
Sectoral wise all indices lost with Development Sector being the top with 1.94 or 0.78% followed by Insurance, Other, Banking, Hotel and Finance which all suffered 0.78%, 0.5%, 0.34%, 0.12% and 0.08% loss respectively than preceding trading session. Sensitive index decreased by 0.29 or 0.31% to settle at 92.46 while Float index also slip by 0.101 or 0.35% point than previous day’s trade.
Total scrips traded for the day were 82 with 23 gainers and 39 losers with total turnover of Rs 39,203,914 which is comparatively Rs 6,877,311 lower than a day before. Overall 122,752 units of shares were traded via 1,207 transactions with total market capitalization of Rs. 341,424.21 millions.
