NEPSE ALL GREEN

The local bourse following the improved performance of all traded sectors, landed in the green terrain with a gain of 2.14 points to close at 499.02 levels. Though, the market index was moving in a positive direction for the entire session, it was only in the last half hour the benchmark index crossed beyond the sideways movement to halt at today’s closing, before that the market index was moving within range of 497 to 498 levels.
Altogether there were trade of seven sectors among which Insurance surged by the highest points tallying 6.18 points followed by Banking with 2.76 points. Likewise, Development soared by 0.29 points and Finance made a jump of 0.59 points. Similarly, Hotels rose by 1.89 points, Hydro inclined by 1.99 points and Others climbed by 1.18 points.
Overall there were trade of 83 scrips among which 38 scrips increased 14 remained intact and 31 scrips decreased. The best performer for the day was, Sagarmatha Insurance Co. Ltd (SIC), closed at Rs 1309, with Rs 119 or 10% gain. Whereas, Western Development Bank Limited (WDBL), closed at Rs 71, was the worst performer with Rs 6 or 7.79% loss. Among the scrips trading above par, Kathmandu Finance Limited (KFL), closed at Rs 146, was the top loser with Rs 8 or 5.19% loss.
In case of the highest shares traded among mutual fund, Nabil Balance Fund 1 (NBF1) , closed at Rs 10.61, topped with 94,406 units. In terms of ordinary scrips, Commerz and Trust Bank Nepal Ltd. (CTBNL), closed at Rs 143, topped with 17,586 units. In case of turnover, Everest Bank Ltd (EBL), closed at Rs 1550, topped with 9,185 units Rs 14,161,295 via 19 transactions; in which Broker no 6 (Agrawal Securities Pvt. Limited) was the most active Broker with 29.70% stand alone dealing of the EBL, tallying 5436 units worth Rs 8,412,906 via 10 transactions which includes 4 matching transactions of 1,165 units worth Rs 1,807,068.
Altogether there were trade of 262,366 units of share via 1,081 transactions worth Rs 65,375,809; the market capitalization at the day stood at Rs 494,533.36 Millions.
