NEPSE ALL GREEN

After three days of decline, the Nepse index today finally made its path to the green zone. Thanks to the cumulative gain in all the sub-indices, the benchmark index today added 7.38 points to its tally. With the gain, the market index today came to close at 815.47 level.
Though the local bourse was suffering loss in the initial hour, the rise in the price of the insurance companies’ share mainly helped the market to overcome its loss.
After the improvement in insurance scrips, similar performance was observed in hydro scrips, others scrips and banking scrips which attributed to further escalation in the market index.
Insurance sector today came to witness a staggering rally of 124.93 points. Similarly, Hydro surged by 8.16 points, Others inclined by 5.88 points and Banking soar by 2.95 points.
Likewise, Manufacturing sector experienced gain of 17.12 points and Hotels sector propelled by 24.59 points. As for two of the remaining banking and financial institutions sub-indices, Development added 0.46 point and Finance made a uphill of 1.67 points.
Altogether there were trade of 129 scrips, among which 74 scrips gained, 10 scrips remained intact and 45 scrips suffered loss.
The best performer among the traded shares was Rastriya Beema Sansthan (RBS), closed Rs 5635, with a gain of Rs 512 or 9.99 percent. Whereas, Cosmos Development Bank Limited (CSDBL), closed at Rs 169, was the worst performer with loss of Rs 18 or 9.63 percent.
Chilime Hydro power Co. (CHCL), which closed at Rs 1895, had the highest turnover among the traded scrips today. Overall, 15,189 units of CHCL were traded through 112 transactions worth Rs 28,417,074.
The Broker with the highest transaction of CHCL was Broker No 14 (Nepal Stock House Pvt. Limited) with 16.83 percent standalone dealing, totaling 5,102 units worth Rs 9,566,129 via 19 transactions, which include three matching transactions tallying 1,702 units worth Rs 3,188,088.
The market turnover today stood at Rs 265,825,593, with total number of shares traded at 464,444 units which were traded through 2,205 transactions. The market capitalization at the end of the day stood at Rs 831,052.52 Millions.
