Nepse added 1.62 points with High Turnover

Initially the benchmark Nepse index lost 1 point inside first 5 minutes of opening but later in the trade session it also saw 1 point jump within 2 minutes. After rise from the bottom, Nepse cross the opening level to add 1.62 or 0.44% to close at 365.15 level.
The market for three consecutive day have seen the Everest Bank Limited with highest turnover which suggest that the big sellers are selling their stock in order to pay debt to bank because of ending fiscal year. This also imply that there are larger number of buyers (investors) who are optimistic about the market ; since the volume of 125,380 units worth Rs 112,870,770 have been liquidated within short period of time.
Today also with 96,949 units worth Rs. 87,255,200 via 2512 transactions Everest Bank Limited (EBL) was the top performer in terms of highest traded share, transaction and turnover in today’s session. The broker with the highest stand alone dealing of EBL was Broker No 20 (Sipla Securities Pvt. Limited) with 41.50% dealing; amounting Rs. 36,211,993 via 658 transactions of 41,106 units which includes matching of 2,790 units worth Rs 2,556,140. Likewise, Royal Merchant Bank and Finance Limited was the Top Gainer with Rs 5 or 6.10 % whereas Diyalo Bikash Bank Ltd was the Top Loser with Rs8 or 8.99%.
Sectoral wise, Banking, Development and Hydro sectors added 3.14, 0.28 and 5.35 points to settle at 332.56, 245.53 and 601.01 level respectively .Similarly, Hotels, Finance, Insurance and Other sectors all suffered loss of 0.38, 0.28, 0.55 and 2.35 points to close at 487.59, 265.38, 480.03 and 540.47 level respectively . Sensitive index increased by 0.52 or 0.56% to settle at 93.47 while Float index also added 0.138 or 0.48% point than previous day’s trade.
Total scrips traded for the day were 76 with 39 gainers and 28 losers with total turnover of Rs 125,279,811 which is astoundingly Rs 85,168,052 higher than a day before. Overall 258,076 units of shares were traded via 2,542 transactions with total market capitalization of Rs. 344,860.20 millions.
