Nepal's Biggest Insurance Company "Nepal Life" Reports Satisfactory Growth In Business Volume In Q4; How Has the Profitability Been For The Quarter?

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has reported growth in net profit by a meager 1.05% in Q4. The company reported a net profit of Rs. 53.59 crores compared Rs. 53.03 crores of the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company stands at Rs. 7.19 Arba and reserve and reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 1.01 Arba. Its life insurance fund increased by 29.29% to Rs. 1.12 Kharba and contingent fund stood at Rs. 58.89 crores.
The net premium increased by 16.93% to Rs. 31.96 Arba and income from Investment, Loan increased by 37.53% to Rs 7.77 arba.
The agent commission increased by 13.10% in this quarter. The company's net claim payment increased by 46.96% to Rs 3.55 arba till Q4. The number of policies stood at 1,381,433.
