The Nepali Congress has contributed Rs. 10 million (1 crore) to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund to support rescue and relief efforts for families affected by the devastating Bhotekoshi flood.

The donation was raised through contributions from party leaders and members. A delegation led by General Secretary Pradeep Paudel handed over the amount to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle at the Ministry of Finance.

Paudel said the assistance is intended to help the government provide immediate relief, medical treatment, and safe shelter for flood-affected families. He added that the Nepali Congress stands with all citizens affected by the disaster during this difficult time.

The party also expressed concern over delays in rescuing people stranded in several locations, including tunnel sites damaged by the floods, and urged the government to speed up rescue operations.
