The Lalitpur Chapter of Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum organized a discussion program titled “Discussion to Policy: Shaping Policy Through Entrepreneurial Voices” at Himalayan Java on Chaitra 5, 2082.

The event brought together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and stakeholders to discuss key challenges in Nepal’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, including regulatory complexities, limited access to finance for startups, and the need for innovation-friendly policies and stronger public private collaboration.

Participants also highlighted opportunities across sectors such as production, services, technology, tourism, and handicrafts, emphasizing the need for policy support, market expansion, digitalization, and skill development. Handicrafts were particularly noted for their strong potential linked to Nepal’s cultural identity and global market prospects.

The forum aims to convert these discussions into actionable policy recommendations, which will be submitted to the government as a “Memorandum of Request,” ensuring that entrepreneurial voices are reflected in policymaking.
