Nepal Tourism Board Launches Initiative to Empower Future Tourism Leaders
The Nepal Tourism Board has launched an initiative to prepare the next generation of tourism professionals in Nepal.
The inaugural session of "Empowering Future Tourism Leaders: Sharing Knowledge & Growth" was held at the Board's auditorium, with 65 students from Shubhashree College of Management attending.
CEO Deepak Raj Joshi highlighted the importance of the initiative for the tourism industry's future and called for community support.
Senior Director Hikmat Singh Ayer encouraged students to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset, while Senior Manager Bimal Kandel showcased Nepal's unique tourist heritage.
The program aims to bridge the gap between industry expertise and emerging talent through engagement with professionals and peers. Interested educational institutions are invited to participate.
Mr. Joshi emphasized that this initiative is focused on cultivating young leaders for the tourism sector. The program is coordinated by Board officers and reflects the Board's commitment to sustainable tourism and enhancing Nepal's travel reputation.
