Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Reaffirms Commitment to Education and Social Responsibility
A program organized at Shree Rastriya Secondary School in Shankharapur Municipality, Kathmandu, saw active participation from Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited officials, school management representatives, teachers, and students.
Addressing the event, Nepal SBI Merchant Banking CEO Santosh Kumar Bhandari emphasized that expanding access to quality education is a shared social responsibility and highlighted the importance of private sector collaboration in shaping students’ futures.
He stated that the company has been conducting various corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs in education, health, and social development and plans to continue such initiatives more effectively in the future.
School Management Committee Chairperson Tulsi Narayan Shrestha expressed gratitude to Nepal SBI Merchant Banking for its support, stating that such assistance motivates students and encourages better learning outcomes.
The company reiterated its commitment to social responsibility alongside financial services, aiming to bring positive changes to society through various community-focused programs. The school currently has 265 students enrolled.
