Nepal SBI Bank Hosts Symposium on FATF Evaluation and AML-CFT Best Practices

Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. (SBI) organized a symposium titled “Navigating FATF Evaluation – Best Practices” to promote effective AML-CFT implementation and institutional coordination ahead of Nepal’s FATF evaluation.

The event was attended by key officials, including NRB Deputy Governor Dr. Neelam Dhungana Timsina and representatives from government, law enforcement, and financial institutions.

AML-CFT expert Mr. Ramakrishna Susarla shared international insights on compliance standards.

The program concluded with a collective commitment to strengthen Nepal’s AML-CFT framework. SBI, with over 32 years of service, currently operates 101 branches, 22 extension counters, and 125 ATMs across the country.
