Nepal SBI Bank and NCHL Partner to Facilitate Cross-Border Payments

Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. (SBI) has partnered with Nepal Clearing House Ltd. (NCHL) to enable cross-border payments between Nepal and India.

This agreement allows Indian citizens in Nepal to transfer funds from SBI accounts to their accounts in India and vice versa for Nepali citizens in India, within limits set by the Nepal Rastra Bank.

The agreement was signed by SBI's Deputy CEO Rajesh Kumar Panda and NCHL's CEO Neelesh Man Singh Pradhan, with several senior officials present. SBI operates through 97 branches, 22 extension counters, 7 province offices, a corporate office, and 121 ATMs.
