Nepal Life Insurance Steps Up with Relief Distribution in Matihani Municipality

Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) recognized as a leading life insurance provider in Nepal, has stepped forward to aid families affected by a devastating fire in Matihani Municipality Ward No. 6, Mahottari. In a relief distribution event attended by local officials including the municipality chief Hari Prasad Mandal and Ward Chairman Kalim Rain, the company distributed a saree to each household impacted by the fire.

At the event, Mandal acknowledged and appreciated the company's timely support, emphasizing its importance in helping the families recover. Rain also highlighted how the assistance would ease the burdens of those families, particularly due to the loss of clothing and other essentials.

The CEO of Nepal Life Insurance, Pravin Raman Parajuli, reiterated the company’s commitment to societal well-being through various socio-economic activities under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. He assured ongoing support for the affected families and readiness to lead future assistance initiatives.

The company’s CSR efforts span education, health, disaster relief, insurance awareness, infrastructure, and support for the underprivileged. Overall, the company provided relief materials to 150 households, addressing the needs arising from the fire that destroyed over 100 houses and damaged around 50 in the ward.
