Nepal Life Insurance Company launches Naulo Keta Keti Insurance scheme; children and teenagers between 1 and 17 years can now receive greater safety of insurance coverage

Nepal Life Insurance Company has launched Naulo Keta Keti Life Insurance Scheme targeting young children and teenagers.

Under the scheme, children and teenagers between one and seventeen years can be insured for a minimum of five to 30 years with insurance coverage of Rs 1 lakh to a maximum amount as per the income of the parents, as per the media statement.

The insured amount and bonus are paid back in totality once the insurance term expires while the insured party will receive the amount along with the bonus in case the child expires before the security term begins i.e. two years after the insurance policy is activated. Likewise, the insured party will get 25% of the insured amount paid back in case of the death of the insured child after the two years threshold whereas the remaining 75%, as well as the bonus, would be paid back after the insurance term expires, as per the media statement.

Likewise, the insurance premium can be paid on a trimester basis where the insured party can also avail up to 90% as a credit facility after three years of activation of the insurance plan.
